A view from my hometown on the North Shore of O’ahu. The multicultural microcosm of Hawai’i was my first introduction to the value of cultures outside my own.

In keeping this blog, I hope to offer some insight into the Foreign Service Officer application process (as I’ve been living it the past year), the Critical Language Scholarship, JET Program, and other travel and study abroad opportunities.
